Michele K. Brazee, 71, of Pittsfield, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Born on April 28, 1954, in New Berlin, NY, Michele was the daughter of the late James and Beverly (Perry) Naas. She dedicated her life to the family farm and later to a career at the Unadilla Valley Central School District as a teacher's aide and then became a bus monitor, where her caring nature and warm smile made her a favorite among students and staff alike.
Michele had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in maintaining her lawn. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, she always wanted to be with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Known for her welcoming spirit, quirky sense of humor, and loving personality, Michele brought comfort and laughter to all who knew her. She was fierce, as tough as nails, and could take on any obstacle that came her way. She always said, "I've lived a good life!" She lived it her way.
She is survived by her daughters, Amber Homann and Jamie (David) Pirie; grandchildren Kody (Kiley) and Jordan (Brandan) Homann, David Allen, William, and Regan Pirie; great-grandchild, Sawyer and Teagan; sisters JoAnne Curtis, Diann Davisson, and Cindy (John) White; and nieces and nephews Sherri, Brandy, David, Tristen, Kourtney, Jimmy, and Francis, and her companion William. She was predeceased by her sister, Terri York; father James Nass, and mother Beverly Naas.
Michele's family will honor her life with a Celebration of Life, Sunday: June 8; at 1:00, at the Pittsfield Fire House.
