Nancy Rose Obituary

Nancy Jo Rose, 57, of Cazenovia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born in Syracuse on October 20, 1967 to Richard Charles and Katherine Jane Rose. Nancy Jo was a graduate of Cazenovia High School Class of '87 and earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Cedarville University in 1992. She was employed as a manager with Family Home Care in Fayetteville and as an operator with TDI (Telecommunications for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing, Inc.). Unfortunately, she had to discontinue working because of injuries sustained in a car accident. Nancy Jo was an avid reader and had a collection of 100's of books. She is survived by her mother, Katherine Rose of Delphi Falls; her sisters Jeanne (Dudley) Schwebe of Canastota and Judy Rose of Delphi Falls; her cousins, Paul Rose of Texas, Debbie (Kurt) Slocum of New Woodstock and Shelley (Jeremy) Cutting of Harpursville, NY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Nancy Jo was predeceased by her father, Richard Charles Rose. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Open Door Baptist Church, 3019 NY Route 13, New Woodstock, NY 13122. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in New Woodstock Cemetery. Contributions in Nancy Jo's memory may be made to the Cazenovia Public Library, 100 Albany St., Cazenovia, NY 13035.
