Nancy F. Sehring

Nancy F. Sehring Eagle Bay, NY Nancy F. Sehring, 81, of Eagle Bay passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Wynn Hospital in Utica. She was born on April 25, 1943 in Herkimer, NY a daughter of the late Earl and Evelyn (Innes) Edick. She was a graduate of Mohawk Central Schools in Mohawk. Nancy was employed at one time with the Ole Barn in Inlet as a Waitress and later accepted a position as a Waitress and hostess with the Woods Inn in Inlet. She was well known by everyone who frequented these establishments. Her magnetic personality and friendly smile were a great attraction. Nancy was well known for her photography, especially her sunset photos of the Adirondacks. Her photos became very famous on Facebook and everyone enjoyed the magic that she captured as she so meticulously searched for the perfect angle to capture her subject. She loved the Adirondacks and all of her neighbors and friends. She loved her family and cherished the time that she spent with them, especially her adored children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Bear Brennan) Sehring of Eagle Bay, and Jeff (Margaret) Sehring of Sauquoit. She leaves her grandchildren, Jonathan Sehring, Haley (Luke) Gregory, Maggie (Jackson) Sehring, Katlyn Sehring, Claire Sehring, Emma Sehring, Lily Sehring and Sydney Sehring. She also leaves a brother, Allen (Linda) Edick of Ilion and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Edick, Mary Margaret Edick, and Karen Jacobson, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Willard Edick and Larry Edick and an infant sister Joyce Edick. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Sunset Nursing Home in Boonville for the wonderful care and compassion that was given to Nancy during her stay there. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes 128 Fern Ave in Old Forge. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mohawk Cemetery in Mohawk.
