Nathan Lee Case

1997 - 2024

HERKIMER - Nathan Lee Case, 26, of Herkimer, left us for his eternal rest, unexpectedly, on July 18, 2024. Nathan was born on September 24, 1997, in Little Falls, NY, to Brandy (Rice) Edmunds. He grew up in Ilion and later Mohawk with his loving parents and his two little sisters. He attended Mohawk Central School, which became Central Valley Academy, where he graduated, in 2016. While in school, his passion was football and wrestling, where he gained many friends, he called brothers and mentors. In Nathan's younger years, you could always find him in a creek, fishing or climbing trees. He loved the outdoors and that carried with him throughout his entire life. This is why he excelled in his career path. His first job out of high school was with Qualtek, in Syracuse, NY, as a foreman for Cell Tower Construction and Maintenance. He loved to climb those towers. He later moved on to Diversified, in Schuyler, NY, as a Civil Construction Technician. He was extremely proud of his new position at Beaton Industries, in Utica NY, where he was training to become a crane operator. Nathan's most prized possessions are his three beautiful children. He was proud to be called Dad and he was an amazing one. They were his world. He was a genuine, hardworking, good hearted, simple man. Nathan is survived by his children, Everly, Ryan and Addilyn Case; his parents, Matt and Brandy Edmunds; his sisters, Jaden and Rylee Edmunds; his grandparents, Doug and Debbie Rice and Cindy Edmunds; his great-grandfather, Harold Sullivan and his fiancée, Marissa Anderson. He also leaves behind many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our only hope is that he is now at peace with our loved ones that we lost before him. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd, Ilion, NY 13357, with a Celebration of his Life to follow at the East Herkimer Sno Riders, 2167 State Route 169, Little Falls, NY 13365.
