Olga Harmatiuk Obituary

Olga Helen Harmatiuk, 73, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, following a brief illness. Born on March 24, 1952, in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Martha (Pyskiw) Harmatiuk. Olga was a lifelong resident of Frankfort, where she built a quiet and caring life surrounded by family and friends. Olga found joy in life's simple pleasures. She cherished her mornings with a cup of coffee and biscuits, and she especially treasured time spent with her family. Her warmth and gentle spirit will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her brother, Nick Harmatiuk; five nieces; and nine great-nieces and nephews, who brought her great joy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Harmatiuk, and her brother, William Harmatiuk. A funeral mass to celebrate Olga's life will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10 A.M. at St. Volodymyr the Great Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4 Cottage Place, Utica. Calling hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held from 8:30 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. before Mass at the church.
