Susan Miner Obituary

Obituary of Susan R. Miner Susan R. Miner, 71, of Bouckville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was born in Hamilton on May 13, 1954 to Velton and Mary Jane Smith and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School, Class of 1972. Sue had been employed as a factory worker and as a waitress at Quack's Village Inn in Madison. She enjoyed going to thrift stores, garage sales, listening to music, dancing, playing board games and spending time with her family and friends. Sue was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She was known for being a kind, caring, generous person who was truly the epitome of the phrase "give the shirt off her back." She is survived by her children, Theresa (Chris) Smith of Eaton, Joshua (Jesica) Miner of Long Beach, CA and Sarah (Jack) Tallman of Madison; her father, Velton Smith of Erieville; her brothers, John (Amy) Smith of Morrisville and Velton (Michelle) Smith, Jr. of Fishersville, VA; his sister, Priscella (Chuck) Ammon of Morrisville; six grandchildren, Kayla Sue Carolyn Cole, Grace Smith, Jennifer Smith, Jonathan Miner, Alyssa Braun and Ryder Tallman as well as several nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her mother, Mary Jane Smith. There are no calling hours, a private celebration of Sue's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Sue's name may be made to a local thrift store. Condolences for the Miner family may be left at www.michaelebrownfuneralservices.com.
