Timothy Waterman

Timothy Charles Waterman, aged 52, passed away December 30, 2024 at home with his family by his side after a 3 year long battle with Bulbar ALS. Tim was born in Rome, NY on January 30, 1972. Known for his kind and loving nature. Tim was a devoted husband to Heather for 25 years. He was a cherished father to Raeann (Connor), Rachal, and Ryan. He was a beloved brother to Paul (Laura), James (Diane), Ken (Tara); his brother-in-law, John (Nicole). He had a unique relationship with his father-in-law, John. His life was enriched by his nieces and nephews Becky, Emma, Kamron, Jeff, Brian, Henry, Logan, and Evan along with aunts, uncles and cousins. He had a very special bond with his kitty, Zuko, whom he shared many donuts with while sitting together nightly. Tim was predeceased by his parents; Paul and Patricia; his mother-in-law, Carol Coy, his grandparents, Stanley and Florence Waterman and Charles and Pauline Snyder. Beginning his career as an over the road truck driver at the age of 18, Tim dedicated 26 years to McLane NE. His commitment to work was paralleled only by his passion for the outdoors. He was a very accomplished deer hunter exceptionally skilled in bow hunting which took time and patience, he was also a mentor to many, teaching ethical hunting practices. His hobbies didn't stop there, Tim was also a fisherman, camper, enjoyed riding trails on his 4 wheelers and riding the road on his motorcycle. He was also an exceptional cook and enjoyed competitive shooting at the local gun club and reloading all his own ammunition. His many talents showcased his ability to master any skill he pursued. Tim's life was a testament to the love and dedication he had for his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed. The family is honoring his wishes to not have a funeral or calling hours but will have a spring burial in Oneida Castle Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life.
