Dean Lucas Obituary

Dean Marvin Lucas, 65, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1959 in Lafayette to the late Royce Lucas and Rosaile Cranford. Dean graduated from Frontier High School. He served his country for 2 years in the USMC. On June 26, 2019, he was married to Dianne Bear King Lucas. Dean worked for Subaru Automotive in their stamping department for over 34 years. He was a member of the Sheffield Township Volunteer Fire Department and retired as a Lieutenant. Dean enjoyed being outdoors, especially golfing and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling whenever he had the chance. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Bear King Lucas of Lafayette, his brothers, Kenny (Debbie) Lucas of Brookston and Terry (Jayme) Lucas of Sacramento, California, and his granddaughter, Cheyanne Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony "Tony" Royce Lucas. Private Services will be held.

Dean
was a neighbor of ours when he lived in Dayton and he was also also on the Sheffield Vol Fire Dept with my husband Paul.
My son Jeremy and his son Tony were good friends.
They both had passed in 2018.
Dean was a wonderful friend and Neighbor and We were very sad to know that he had passed. Sending Prayers to his family.
