Keith Rhodes

Keith Lashon Rhodes, 61, of Lafayette, passed away at Franciscan Health on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 28, 1964 to Hester (Martin) Rhodes and the late Bobby Louis Rhodes. Keith earned his high school degree from Percy L. Julian High School. He went on to have a career in assembly and spent over seven years working for Advance Auto Parts in Remington. He was married to Elise Gibson on August 30, 2010 in Lafayette, and she survives. They were members of Second Baptist Church. In his free time, Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching basketball and football, and going on road trips, especially to Tennessee. In addition to his wife, Elise Gibson-Rhodes, Keith is survived by his mother, Hester Rhodes; daughter, Nakia Rhodes; brother, Karl Rhodes; sister, Joie Rhodes; and grandchildren, Destinee, Ashaun, Aaliyah, Aiyannah, Na'Laya, Tyran, Camilla, Luke, Mariah and Martel Jr. Keith was proceeded in death by his son Keith Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th from 10-11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church (2925 S 18th St, Lafayette, IN 47909).
