Mabel M. Bahler

Mabel M. Bahler, 92, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at University Place in West Lafayette. She was born July 9, 1933, in Remington, IN, to the late Erwin and Anna (Eisenmann) Bahler. Mabel graduated from Remington High School and Fort Wayne Bible College. For several years, she taught elementary school in Columbus OH. In the late 70s she was the cofounder of International Friendships, an outreach to Ohio State students. For 35 years she shared Jesus Christ with hundreds of women from all over the world, with the vision that many would return to their home countries to share the gospel. Surviving are her siblings Walter (Esther) Bahler of Fairbury, IL, Raymond Bahler of TX, Betty Zimmerman of Atlanta, GA, Viola (Richard) Stoller of Wolcott, IN and many nieces and nephews. Mabel was preceded in death by siblings Evelyn Knochel, Edwin Bahler, Edith Kaufmann and David Bahler. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West.
