Sandra Lynn Anderson

Sandra Lynn (Richardson) Anderson September 20, 1943 – August 27, 2025 Sandra Lynn Anderson, 81, of Huntington, Indiana, passed peacefully on August 27, 2025. Born September 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Thelma Richardson. She married Donald "Don" Anderson on October 22, 1961, and together they shared 63 years of marriage filled with love, friendship and family. Sandra devoted her life to raising her two children, Danielle (Scott) Louden of Saint John, IN, and Mark (Denise) Anderson of Ballwin, MO. She was also a proud grandmother to Carling Ashway Louden, Ryan Michael Anderson, and Morgan Lynn Anderson. A woman of grace and intelligence, Sandra was a lifelong learner and avid reader. She taught piano for more than 20 years and touched countless lives through music. Sandra was deeply involved in her community, active in Psi Iota Xi, Indiana Sorosis, P.E.O., the Daughters of the American Revolution, Society of Indiana Pioneers, "book club," Monday Dominoes, several bridge groups, and as a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Sandra will be remembered with love. A memorial service to honor Sandra's life will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Timbercrest Senior Living Community, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, Indiana. A Celebration of Life reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to be made to the Ohio State Neuromuscular Research at the Wexner Medical Center, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
