Amy Lynne Adams, 61, of Wilmington, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
She was born July 9, 1961 in Fairborn, Ohio, the daughter of Allen Pippin and Patricia Powers.
Amy graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1979 and from Southern State in 2006 with an associate degree in business. She worked at Phillips Insurance for 20 years.
Amy enjoyed to garden, doing yardwork and painting. She loved time spent at the beach and especially loved cruising. She was proud member of the VIFP club with Carnival Cruise line.
She loved spending time with family and she will be greatly missed.
Amy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Adams; her father, Allen Pippin; her children, Jessica (Joe) Barnett, Jayne Adams, William Anthony (Jamie Lynn) Davis and Joshua (Sarah) Adams; a sister, Debbie Ward; grandchildren, Carter and Claire Adams, Kandice and Layla Davidson and Ethan Davis.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Powers.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 1 p.m. at Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield. A memorial visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Tuesday.
