Carol Edwards Obituary

Carol Ann Edwards, age 78, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 14, 2025 at the Vineyards at Concord Nursing Home in Frankfort.

She was born November 5, 1946 in Buena Vista, Ohio, daughter of the late James William and Mary Lou (Cochran) McConnell.

Carol was a member of Wilmington Assembly of God and was a librarian for many years at Wilmington College and Southern State Community College, Wilmington Campus.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law: Jody and Debbie Edwards of New Martinsburg; two grandchildren: A.J. and Courtnee Edwards of Port William; and special friend, Patty Kissinger of Wilmington.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph Jay Edwards.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am with graveside services immediately following at New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch with Pastor Richard Bracht officiating.
