Gary, you've been my friend since junior high at Wilmington High School. We played together in band for 6 years. Then communicated by email. You took on a huge challenge & fought bravely for years with the help of Chris & Samuel. It breaks my heart to see it end this way...all too soon...when you had come so far.
We all have warm memories of you as our class president. It is hard to say goodbye...I will never forget you, Gary Partlow! With love, Marilynn

Chris and Sam, Gary will be missed and I know you will miss him most of all. Gary was my 1st Boss with the National Guard back in 1973 and was great to work for. His understanding and guidance helped me to make a career choice of staying with the Guard as a full timer until I could also retire. He was truly a great leader.

Chris and Sam, this note has been started & restarted 4x now. There isn't a "right" thing to say except This sucks! 33 years of marriage speaks volumes. You have all been thru so much but you stuck together as a family. When I think of the ornery things he did, I have to chuckle. He picked the right woman is all I can say. You both raised an amazing young man. Keep making your parents proud Sam. And finally, I would publicly like to Thank Mr Gary Partlow for all his years of service to this country. Fly high Sir!
