Homer C. Harper, 83, of Clarksville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 29, 2025.
Born October 13, 1941, in Clarksville, Ohio, son of Patton and Olma (Whitley) Harper. Homer was a long-time member of the Pleasant Grove Church of God. His passion was family, farming, and his horses.
Homer was the beloved husband of 58 years to Rebecca (Carpenter) Harper; proud father of Brad (Renee) Harper and Jamie (Bonnie) Harper; loving grandfather of Chris Harper, Dustin Harper, Ashley Doyle, and Rachael Schender; dear brother of Alvera Arizpe and Jean Wiederhold.
Along with his parents, Homer was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Harper.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester.
Interment will take place at Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Ohio.
