Paul Schumacher Obituary
Paul N. Schumacher, 60, of Wilmington, entered Heaven on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 surrounded by his family.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1953 in Highland, Ill. to Norma and Norman Schumacher.
Mr. Schumacher is survived by his spouse, Jan; children, Kate Higgins Schumacher Tarr, Eve Higgins Schumacher Hughes, Charly and Ely Schumacher; his mother, Norma Schumacher; sisters, Carol Ranek of Edwardsville, Ill. and Mary Hudson of Colorado; and a niece, Stephanie Frazier, and nephews, Jonathan Frazier and Matthew Ranek, all of Edwardsville, Ill.
Paul was preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Hudson, and father, Norman Schumacher.
A private family memorial was planned at the family farm.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to caribbeanchildrensfoundation.org, the organization that assisted Paul and Jan's two sons while they were in Haiti.
