Alice M Rivard

CUMBERLAND - Alice M. ( Durand ) Rivard, 83, of Pine Swamp Rd. died Sunday, October 25, 2015 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Marcel Rivard. They were married for 58 years.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Domina and Albina "Ida" ( Plante ) Durand.
Alice worked for US Rubber for 10 years and also for Peterson Puritan for 26 years prior to retiring.
She was a former member of St. Joseph Senior Citizens. She also enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.
She is survived by her three children, Dennis and his wife Darlene Rivard of Smithfield, Paula and her husband Kenneth Moretti of Woonsocket, Donna and her husband Kevin Driscoll of Cumberland, two brothers, Maurice Durand of Bellingham and Roger Durand of Woonsocket. And eight grandchildren.
Mother of the late Paul Rivard and sister of the late Raymond Durand.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 9 AM from the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd. Cumberland, RI. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
