Ann Bishop Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Ann M. (Goyette) Bishop, 87, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully Friday, November 17, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late George A. Bishop, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Nelson Goyette, Jr. and the late Louise (Saurette) Goyette, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life and had also lived in Florida for 3 years.
Mrs. Bishop had worked in the Collections Division at Pawtucket City Hall for 22 years before retiring in 1988.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Bishop and one son, Steven Bishop and his wife, Cheryl, all of Pawtucket; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late George A. Bishop, Jr. and the sister of the late Jacqueline Hendricks. She also leaves her beloved dog, Penny.
Her funeral and burial were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Bishop's memory to the Masi Foundation, c/o Pawtucket Animal Shelter, 121 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
