Barbara leaves her siblings, Janice L. McCarthy and her husband, Thomas, of Seekonk, Marilyn F. Asermely and her husband, Gerard, of Seekonk and John D. Wright and his wife, Karen, of Mansfield and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cheetham Funeral Home, Pawtucket. For online condolences:

I have so many fond memories of Barbara over the years but especially from childhood when she would be over the house hanging with Lorraine. She never minded when I tried to hang with them too! I always loved her sense of humor, smile, and kind ways. My sympathy to all of you.

Jan, Marilyn, Jack, I'm so sorry to hear of Barbara and your Mom passing away, best childhood memories of learning to ride bikes on Park and Lilac street and endless summer days of pool fun on East street. May warm memories bring in comfort in the days ahead .

I have known Barbara for about a year and a half, I adored her personality, good spirit, and fruitful conversations. I am sad to see her go unexpectedly especially during the holiday season, my prayers and condolences go out to her family. May she find peace in the afterlife.

I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose your Mom and Sister is unthinkable. I remember Barbara as having such a good sense of humor and being so funny.
