Bernadette Dorais

LINCOLN/MANVILLE - Bernadette Dorais, 93, of Sayles Hill Rd. passed away Saturday in The Holiday Retirement Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Lucien L. Dorais.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Leonide (Champagne) Belgarde. She resided in Manville for the past 13 years previously living in Cumberland.
She was employed by the Teknor Apex Co., Pawtucket for 9 years until her retirement and had previously worked for the Douglas Young Co., Pawtucket for many years.
She leaves three children, David Dorais and his wife Carol of South Attleboro, Dolores Berard and her husband Dennis of North Smithfield and Donald Dorais and his wife Kristine of Cumberland. She also leaves four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 older brothers and three older sisters.
The funeral will be held Thursday, October 1st at 9:30 a.m. from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland, with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at J.J. Duffy Funeral Home.
