Beverly Ann Tobin

LINCOLN - Beverly Ann (Mucciarone) Tobin, 76, widow of Bentley Tobin, Esq., passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence after an extended illness. The daughter of Anthony R. "Mack" and Elizabeth G. (Haggart) Mucciarone, she was born in Woonsocket, attended Woonsocket public schools and graduated from Dean Junior College in Franklin, MA.
She was employed as legal secretary by Higgins and Silverstein Law Offices in Woonsocket which today is Hinckley, Allen Law Offices in Providence, of which her husband Bentley was a partner. A Lincoln, RI resident since her marriage in 1979, Beverly was an avid golfer at the Kirk Brae Country Club in Lincoln and at the Hunter Run Golf Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Beverly and Bentley were devoted weekly customers for over forty years at the Old Canteen Restaurant in Providence.
Beverly is survived by her sisters, Gail Hammann, of Elizabethtown, KY and Dawn Coons of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by her brother John H. Mucciarone. She was the aunt of Jane (David) Kamm of Virginia, Jill (Jay) O'Hara of Burrillville, Anthony (Myra) Hammann of Indiana, and Joshua (Shannon) Hammann of New York. She is the grandaunt of Jacob and Samantha Kamm, Isabelle and Brody O'Hara, and William and Owen Hammann. She is also survived by Bentley's children, Mitchell and Patricia Tobin, and by her dear friends Carol Miller, Michael and Phyllis Silverstein, and her caregivers, Cindy Kerr and Marie Bowers as well as several cousins.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 1 PM followed by a prayer service at 2 PM in Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
