Brian Noyes Obituary

MEDFIELD, MA - Brian "Bo" Noyes, 56, a former resident of Hopedale, MA, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on May 1, 2021.

Brian fought a brief, courageous battle with cancer over his final months on this earth. His positive attitude beginning with his diagnosis, through his battle and to the very end was amazing, and an inspiration to his family, children, and the love of his life Jenny.

Brian was born the son of Jeanne M. Noyes and the late Merwin "Bow" Noyes. Brian grew up in Hopedale MA, and graduated from Hopedale High School with the class of 1983. After a brief career in the automotive industry, Brian began his own business as a Snap-On Dealer. His business introduced him to many people, and his incredible knowledge and ability led to a long and successful business, long time customers and many, many friends. Brian shared a lifetime passion for racing with his father Bow and his brother Andrew, his tool dealership was the perfect support for their passion.

Eventually selling his business, Brian's next venture was also his own, New England Athletic Supply as a supplier and installer of everything from bleachers to turf fields for schools and universities across the northeast. Once again building many great relationships, one of those led him to his final career stop at M.S. Company in Attleboro MA.

Brian's passion for his work is easily surpassed by his passion and love for his family. From coaching son Jonathan in hockey, watching Riley play every sport imaginable, to skiing in the white mountains, Brian was an ever present amazing Dad. They spent two decades of summers in Harwich, their days filled with sailing, boating, fishing, and beach days with their many friends at Stone Horse Yacht Club. Perhaps a favorite was their many trips across the sound to spend a day on Nantucket.

Brian's love for Nantucket fortuitously led to another, the love of his life Jenny. They met on Columbus Day 2015 in Nantucket and were never apart again until Brians passing. Jenny shares Brian's love of the sea, they spent many wonderful days on the waters of Cape Cod as well as Gloucester. They have beautiful memories of times spent together in Hawaii and Wyoming as well. Jenny's love for Brian is deep, as she showed all of his family while caring for him every day during his battle against his cancer, and being at his side as he peacefully passed to his next life.

In addition to his beloved partner, Jenny Anastos and her son Colin, Brian is survived by his mother Jeanne M. Noyes of Cape Neddick ME, his son Jonathan Noyes and daughter Riley Noyes of Harwich MA; his brother Charlie Noyes and Kimberly Tipert of Gloucester MA; brother Andrew Noyes of Chepachet RI; sister Wendy Hall and her husband Les Hall of Brookfield MA; nephews and nieces Ryan Noyes, Geoffrey Noyes, Julia Noyes, Gianna Noyes, Joshua Hall, Jessica Hall, Luke Hall and many, many loving and caring friends.

Funeral services will be held privately. A celebration of Brian's life will take place at the Crystal Room, 49 Cedar St, Milford MA on Saturday May 22nd from 2:00-6:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend at any time to join Brian's family in celebration and share your best memories.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Brian Noyes to support Team Lanzonis fundraising efforts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or on line @ https://danafarber.jimmyfund.org/site/TR?fr_id=1670&pg=personal&px=1728133.
