Constance Audette Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Constance "Connie" Majella (Salois) Audette, 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 5, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger G. Audette for sixty-two years before his death in 2017. Born in Pawtucket and living here nearly all her years, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eva (Beauchesne) Salois.

Connie devoted her life to the care of her family, which includes seven children, sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by all her children: Anne Marie Briere and her husband Ray of Texas; Lucie Audette and her husband Rob Bauman of Michigan; Rose Marie Audette and her husband Terry Lynch of Washington, D.C.; Roxanne Audette and her husband Ray Neirinckx of Warwick; Andre Audette and his wife Laura of Wrentham, MA; David Audette and his wife Michele Risso Audette of Pawtucket; and Jo-Anne Audette-Arruda and her husband Jim Arruda of Florida. She was the sister of the late Lillian Lussier, Br. Gerard (Eugene) Salois, Juliette Poisson, Sr. Lena Salois SSA, Norbert and Normand Salois, and the beloved aunt of Lorraine Lussier of Pawtucket.

Connie was a lifetime communicant of St. Cecilia's Parish (now St. John Paul II Parish), attended St. Cecilia's School, graduated as class president from Notre Dame High School in 1949, where she was editor of the school newspaper. After many years, Connie retired from a banking career at Fleet Bank.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, beginning with visitation at 9:30 a.m. in WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with her late husband will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Cecilia School, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.trippfuneralhome.com.
