Constance Blake Obituary
2016. She was the beloved wife of John W. Blake for 63 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Roland A. and Jeannette (St. Jean) Roy.
Connie worked as a bookkeeper for the Sherwin-Williams Co. for over 17 years and was previously employed by Jackie's Dress Shop, Seekonk. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish (formerly St. Mary's) Seekonk, where she taught CCD and was involved in several parish ministries and activities for many years. Above all, Connie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her beloved husband, she leaves three children, Steven D. Blake and his wife, Deborah of Hopkinton, RI, Wayne M. Blake and his wife, Marivette of Galloway Township, NJ and Laurie J. Hickson and her husband, Thomas of Hardwick, MA. Connie also leaves five beloved grandchildren, Christopher J. Blake, Anna N. Blake, Joshua J. Blake, Katie B. Hickson and Kylie C. Hickson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Interment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Attleboro. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, 385 Central Ave., Seekonk, MA 02771 will be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
