Daniel Cooke Obituary
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his brother James J. Cooke, Jr. and his wife Mariann of Pascoag and his twin brother David J. Cooke and his wife Nancy of Cumberland. He was the uncle of James J. Cooke, III, Joseph, and John Cooke; also survived by a great-nephew and great-niece.
His funeral will be held Saturday April 18, 2015 at 8:45am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., N. Providence. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Pascoag. Visitation Friday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., N. Smithfield, RI 02896 or ALS R.I. Chapter, 2374 Post Rd., STE. 103, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.

Our deepest condolences and prayers to beautiful Lynn and all the members of Dan's family. He was a wonderful chef, great poet and a just a wonderful person. He had a heart bigger than life and he always had a smile for everyone. His joy will remain in our hearts and it will light up the skies in heaven. It was our pleasure to know Dan. I had the great pleasure of knowing Dan at North Bay Manor. I would have to be in the kitchen to prepare for an activity for the residents on a regular basis. Dan was always helpful, cheerful, high spirited, had something nice to say, and always wore that infamous smile. He took great pride in his work, which came across in all he did. He will be remembered as everything good and kind. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I am very sorry to hear about Dan's passing. I met Dan in high school,and we worked together @ Zambarano Hospital.He always had a smile and made others around him smile. We use to call him Disco Dan. I hope you are dancing in heaven my friend

I first met Dan and his brother, David when bowling at the Johnston Town Hall Lanes. He was an awesome bowler. We could never beat their team. We had a lot of laughs. I was hired at North Bay in 2009, that is where I met this guy and said " hey, I know you. That was our joke. Every Thursday, Dan would say, see you tonight at bowling! He was such a great man and inspiration. He would give you the shirt off his back. My deepest condolences, Lynn. God is holding him in his arms, and we WILL see our loved ones again in our precious Heaven.

I met Dan and his twin brother David in kindergarten at St. Patricks back in 1962. I guess that nice people leave a lasting impression! I pray that God will bring peace to your family and to your soul as you are now with Jesus.

I worked with Dan for 10 years at north bay he was a good man he was a hard worker and loved his Family and life. I was his prep cook . I just lost my husband 12/15/14 from Cancer..I know how u feel.. So sorry for your loss So sad I will miss him :(
