David Barnett Obituary
He was a graduate of Woonsocket High School Class of 1987 and had a successful career in sales and marketing. David became a musician in his teenage years and played bass guitar in several local bands. He was also an avid sports enthusiast over his lifetime.
Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State St. #200, Providence, RI 02908.

I just recently heard of Dave's passing. My deepest sympathies to his family. Dave was one of the most insanely talented.bass players I ever had the privilege of sharimg the stage with. We lost touch over the years but David out of the blue called me one day to express how happy he was to see how well my music career was going and his best wishes. Just that type of person. We had a great run in Hiding Place.I will miss him. Marc Philip

My condolences to the family. Hugs and prayers. I had the pleasure of working with Dave in Cranston when I was fairly new to RI. We shared an office space and working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, you get to know someone well. We shared a love of music among other things and he was the sweetest guy. I loved No Doubt and to make sure my collection was complete, he bought me the Tragic Kingdom CD (which I still own). This may seem small but it meant that he was attentive and thoughtful. Love that about him. On another occasion, I received a phone call at work about a loss of a family member and he was so supportive and helped me make it through the day without anyone knowing what was going on. He was an all around good guy to me with great intentions and a heart of gold. I will forever hold all of the precious memories of him in my heart! God bless.
