Dennis McCarthy Obituary
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Providence College, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He was a Navy veteran. Dennis was a pharmaceutical representative for over 30 years, having worked for Burroughs and Wellcome. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, often with his brother, and taking care of his lawn.
He leaves two sons, Brian McCarthy and his wife Deana of Pascoag and Kevin McCar- thy and his wife Kathy of Greenville; two brothers, Charles McCarthy and his wife Joyce of Smithfield and William McCarthy and his wife Sue of Cape Cod, MA; his sister, Mary-Lynn Marland and her husband Dennis of Woonsocket; and four grandchildren, Samantha, Morgan, Colin and Hope McCarthy.
His funeral will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 PM. www.holtfuneralhome.com
