Doris Forant Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Rosaline (Breault) Smith. She resided in North Smithfield for the past four years, previously residing in Cumberland and Perot, N.V for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Forant was a longtime member of the Rosary Altar Society at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Pahrump, NV and a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland.
She was employed by Texas Instruments for more than 16 years until her retirement in 1980.
She is survived by a daughter; Pauline Ball and her husband William of Mashpee, MA and a son David Forant and his wife Judith of Beverly Hills, FL. One sister Pauline Sirois of Cumberland. Seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Monday October 23, 2017 at 9:30 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Aidan Church, 1464 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Calling hours will be held on Monday October 23, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to one's favorite charity would be appreciated.
