Edgar Degre Obituary
Mr. Degre worked as a delivery driver for Hudson Services, Inc., in Providence. Ed was a faithful member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Woonsocket, and had a deep love for his country, and his dog, Sadie. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed singing karoke with his brother.
Along with his wife, Jean, he is survived by his children Jason Hartley and his wife, Lyndi of Franklin, Melissa Kinner and her husband, Christopher of Woonsocket, and Edgar Cote of North Providence; his siblings, Kelly Glaser and her husband, John, Kasey Ruiz and her husband, Manuel, both of Palm Coast, FL, Donna Duhamel and her husband Gary, Timothy Degre and his wife, Pauline, both of Woonsocket, and Richard Degre of Haltom, TX; several nieces and nephews; and twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson, whom he loved dearly.
His funeral will be held, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 starting with a visitation from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM in the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 537 Elm St., Woonsocket. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the support of the family of Edgar Degre, 780 North Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
