Edith Bennett Obituary
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Reynolds J. and Sylvia A. (Henwood) Martin, She had been a Pawtucket resident for sixty years before moving to Warwick in 2007. Mrs. Bennett was a winder at Cook's Mills for many years before retiring in 1980.
She leaves one daughter, Shirley E. Such of Warwick; Three grandchildren, Theodore H. Such, Jr., David W. Such and Jo-Ann Passell; six great grandchildren, David Such, Jr., William such, Marissa Such, Nathan Passell, Shaye Passell and Kaleigh Passell. She was the sister of Reynolds J. Martin of East Providence, Carol E. Ferreira of Pawtucket, the late Vivian Caillella, Raymond A. Martin, Florence McConnell and Leona Campagone,.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 AM in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Calling Hours Thursday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Gentiva Hospice 2373 Post Road Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
