Eileen Barker Obituary
Mrs. Barker was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late John Slavin and Mary (McCormick) Slavin. She was employed by the Pawtucket School System as an Elementary school teacher for over twenty five years.
She is survived by her niece, Elizabeth S. Brown and her husband Ray of Uxbridge Ma.
Mrs. Barker was a long time member of the Pawtucket Country Club. She was also active in the Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club for many years.
The funeral for Mrs. Barker will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Martyrâs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Maryâs Cemetery. The calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-5 pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket, 1 Moeller Place, Pawtucket, R.I. 02860 in Eileenâs memory. For online condolences please visit www.manningheffern.com.
