Emile Glode Obituary
He was the husband to the late Maeriel (Coderre) Glode, he was born in Woonsocket, son of the late Charles & Loretta (Tremblay) Glode.
Pete worked for the for the City of Woonsocket water department. He was a lifelong Woonsocket resident, graduating from Woonsocket High School where he played basketball, baseball and football. He was a Korean US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his children, James Glode and his wife Sophia of Blackstone and Roxanne Glode of Leesburg, FL, grandchildren, Alexis Glode of Millersville University of PA, Austin Glode, and a sister, Madeline Fernandes.
He was preceded in death by his son, Peter Glode and siblings, Loretta Peloquin, Eugene "Chubby" Glode and Normand Glode.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island, 70 Bath St., Providence, RI 02908. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.

My heart and prayers are with you all.
Uncle Pete was such a special man. Always so welcoming. I would not see him for years just knock on the door and it was always like he seen
me every week with he's warm and friendly smile.
Jimmy and Sophia and Roxanne so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find peace that he is happy to be with Aunt Muriel. Your parents had a very special love. God Bless you all.
