Enid M. Pappas

CUMBERLAND - Enid M. (Burgess) Pappas, 90, of Cumberland and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Pappas.
Born in Lancashire, England, a daughter of the late Arthur and Rebecca (Collier) Burgess, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Cumberland 8 years ago.
Mrs. Pappas was a saleslady at the former New York Lace Store, and later, worked as an office worker at Hasbro, Inc., both of Pawtucket.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Pawtucket, where she also served on its Altar Guild. She was a Corporator of the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
She is survived by her loving children, Pamela Doheny and her husband, Frank of Cumberland and Gregg A. Pappas and his wife, Christine of McKinney, TX; her beloved grandchildren, Conor, Julia and Leah Pappas, Kara Ronayne and Jenna Sier; and her beloved great grandchildren, Lola, Maddox, Gia and Ivy Ronayne, and Scarlett and Emersyn Sier.
Her funeral and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
