Eugene A. Duquette

SLATERSVILLE - Eugene A. Duquette, 90, of Orchard St., died Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Jeannette(Michaud) Duquette.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Lionel L. Duquette Sr. and Florence L (Crepeau) Duquette.
Eugene and Jeannette were happily married for 67 years .
Mr. Duquette was an avid golfer.
He worked as a laborer for 32 years at General Motors in Framingham, MA.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII, obtaining the Good Conduct Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, and the Victory Medal.
He was a member of the DAV in Manville and VFW in Forestdale.
Besides his beloved wife Jeannette, he is survived by his two daughters, Suzanne Robidoux and her partner Susan Comtois of Chepachet, RI and Pauline and her husband Michael Lima of Harrisville, RI. One brother, Lionel L. Duquette Jr. of Greenville, RI and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was also the brother of the late Louis and Conrad Duquette.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 9 AM from the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St. Slatersville, RI. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
