Eunice Cuff Obituary
She received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Annhurst College in Woodstock, CT. Eunice taught First Grade for 23 years in the Town of Glocester School System, was a lifetime member of the NEA, and received a Lifetime teaching certificate from the State of Rhode Island.
She leaves her sisters Verna Garren of Hendersonville, NC, also her guardian Angels Dick and Ellie Cutler, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 from 3 to 5 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove St., Putnam, CT. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at 11 AM in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, MA. Share a memory at www.smithandwalkerfh.com

Mrs Cuff, I just drove by your house with such amazing memories and my heart filled with such joy... I had to look you up and with sadness I saw this. You have always been my favorite. I could always count on you even after I left you always Remembered me! I´ll never forget when my kids had you! The joy in your face and when you hugged me, I felt like I was back as a first grader and the warmth In your arms just filled my soul. My condolences to your family. I do know that you are so loved by all that had you.. thank you for being such and inspiring to so many of us. RIP our Angel

Mrs. Cuff was my first grade teacher in the late 1970s and still today I remember to be a smart, loving teacher who made me excited to learn. I am very saddened to her of her passing and wish her extended family my deepest prayers and sympathies.

Aunt Eunice was a very sweet, dear lady who spent her life serving and teaching others. Tho' her name never made the headlines on earth, heaven I'm sure has been taking note a very long time and she is now receiving her just reward!!
Tho' we didn't get to see her much, we thought of her often, and loved her lots.

You will be deeply missed Aunt Eunice by your Garren Family. We looked forward to your sweet and thoughtful birthday cards every year.
