Eunice T. Rochefort

1925 - 2015

WOONSOCKET - Eunice T. Rochefort, 90, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 68 years of Ernest J. Rochefort. Born in Woonsocket on June 9, 1925, she was the daughter of Hormisdas and Laetitia (Belleville) Masse. She was the loving mother of Elaine T. Gueutal and her husband, Gordon of Windham, CT, Robert F. Rochefort of Woonsocket, RI and Jeanne E. Tronti and Brian Pomerleau of Woonsocket. She leaves her 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Vital and Roland Masse and Yolande Roy.
A lifelong resident of Woonsocket, Eunice worked at Tupperware in North Smithfield for 12 years until retiring in 1987 and then worked at Mailing Services Inc. in Providence.
Mr. & Mrs. Rochefort were married on August 23, 1947 in St. Ann's Church. She was an avid camper. She was very family oriented and her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog "Benson". She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 18th at 10:00AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Thursday, December 17th from 5 to 8PM.
