Everett B. Campbell Jr.

1921 - 2018

TEWKSBURY, MA - Everett B. Campbell, Jr., 97, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 13, 2018. Everett was a longtime Rhode Island resident, residing in Central Falls, North Providence, Chepachet and Cumberland. Born in Worcester, MA on February 18, 1921, one of two children, he was the son of the late Everett and Ethel (Croutear) Campbell. He was predeceased by his wife, Germaine (Bessette) and his sister, Norma Briggs.
Everett leaves a son, Everett III and his wife, Isabel, of Nashua, NH, two grandchild-ren, Eric and his wife Oonagh of Westford, MA, Jonathan and his wife Meredith of Boulder, CO, two great-grandchildren, Andrew Campbell and Noah Brown of Westford and several nieces and nephews.
Everett proudly served in the U.S. Army as a corporal during World War II and was part of the D-Day Invasion as a member of the 461st Anti-Aircraft Battalion.
Everett's funeral will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, RI followed by a Service and Burial with Military Honors at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI.
