Everett Pelkey Obituary
Everett was born in Woonsocket in 1943, the son of the late Mary and Everett E. Pelkey, Sr. He was married to the late Susan R. (Dugas) Pelkey and was the father of the late Lori Pelkey Murphy, formerly of Mequon, WI. He is survived by his children, Bryan (Nancy) Pelkey of Pawcatuck, CT, Steven (Tammy) Pelkey of Weare, NH, and Gayle Pelkey of Voluntown, CT. He also leaves a sister Mary Jane Pelkey of Harrisville, RI; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A member of Burrillville HS Class of 1961, he resided for several years in Ashaway, RI, was a machinist at the Former Harris Graphics Company and spend several years as a Fleet Mechanic for S.C.I.R.T.S. Inc. In retirement, he was a groundskeeper at the Fenner Hill County Club while spending his winters in Melbourne, FL. He was a longtime fan of all New England sports and enjoyed honing his golf game. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
