Faith A. Gaudet

WOONSOCKET - Faith A. Gaudet, 85, of Privilege St. died Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Henry Gaudet of Woonsocket and widow of Charles Francis. Born in Blackstone, MA daughter of the late William "Gillaume" and Rosanna (Cayer) Longtin.
Faith graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Worcester State College in 1980. She worked as a group home director for young adults for the Gulf Coast Center in Fort Meyers, FL prior to retiring. Faith was the author of the book; Farnum Street - Anecdotes from the Depression.
Besides her husband Henry, she is survived by 1 son, Brian Francis and his wife Alycia of Bel-lingham, WA. 4 daughters, Faith Trudel and her husband Richard of Taunton, MA, Chuckie Peterson and her husband John Goldwater of Hutto, TX, Lorijane Graham of Naples, FL and Wendy Francis and her husband Donald Ward of West Tisbury, MA. 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons.
She was also the sister of the late William, Rita , Leo, Dotty, Rose, Mary, René, and Shirley.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 9 AM from the S. DiPardo Memo-rial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery Blackstone, MA at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island 1085 N. Main St. Providence, RI 02904 in Faith's memory would be appreciated.
