Gary D. Gauthier

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL - Gary David Gauthier 69, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed on Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1953, in Woonsocket, RI. Gary was a 1972 graduate of Woonsocket High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church/Orlando. Gary worked as a Real Estate Title Examiner, and retired from Fidelity National Title Group, because of his declining health due to ALS, and was lovingly cared for by his wife, Doris, for the past four years.

Gary married Doris E. (Grasch) August 31, 2002. Gary loved to surprise Doris by planning many of their trips. Together they went on seven cruises, trips to several national parks from Maine to Alaska, and other places in between, as well as visits with each other's families. He enjoyed playing racquetball and golf, hiking, reading, and playing the guitar.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Ernest J. Gauthier and Claire L. (Lariviere) Gauthier.

Gary is survived by his son, Kevin M. Gauthier (Leticia), his siblings: Ronald E. Gauthier (Margaret), Linda C. Smith, David A. Gauthier, Nancy Mummert (Wayne), and James P. Gauthier (Mai); along with nieces and nephews; his wife Doris E. Gauthier and her sons Matthew A. Craig and Derek A. Craig.

Visitation will occur Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Casselberry, FL. The service will occur Monday, April 3, 2023. Burial will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park.
