George Smith Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, son of late William Smith Sr. and Margaret (Montville) Smith.
George worked as a Machinist for Whitings Machine Company and the Glenark Mills prior to retiring. He loved the outdoors, flowers, birds, and chocolate. He was a Snowbird and loved to spend his winters in Florida. Before he moved to Village of Waterman Lake he finally lived his life long dream of visiting Hawaii with his great niece Tia- Marie and her family.
He is survived by his niece, Melissa Dubois and her husband John of Woonsocket, his nephews, Thomas Lannon of CA and Daniel DuBreuil of Burrillville. The late Timothy Lannon's wife Julie Lannon of Woonsocket. Great nieces and nephews, Tia-Marie Armand and her husband Jonathon of Oakland, RI., Nathan Lannon of Oakland, RI, Lyndsey Lannon of Woonsocket, Nicholas Lannon of CA, Michael and Mikaela Mazzarella of Woonsocket, Kristal Rock of FL, and Danielle Marchessault of Burrillville.
He was also the brother of the late Lillian Smith - Messier, Margaret Detonnancourt, William Smith Jr. and uncle to the late Timothy Lannon.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 10-11AM prior to the service. Burial to follow in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield RI. sdipardomcfh.com

So very sorry for the loss of George. He was always so kind and had such an amazing smile. I´ll never look at a Hershey bar without thinking of him!!! I´m so thankful I got to know him. Prayers and hugs to those who loved him.
