Gerhard Danner Obituary
When Gerhard came to the United States he worked at American Insulated Wire and then went on to a forty-four year career at the Foxboro Company until his retirement. He was a longtime and highly active member of the German American Cultural Society in Pawtucket. In his younger days, Gerhard was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed repairing mechanical clocks. He also loved to dance with his late wife, especially polkas. Gerhard will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-nine years.
He leaves two sons, Gary Danner and his wife, Sherry, of Seekonk and Rene Danner and his fiancée, Karen Kaiser, of Pawtucket; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Lore E. Kennett of Pawtucket.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the German American Cultural Society, 78 Carter Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to William W.
