St Germain

CUMBERLAND - Jeannette D. (Tessier) St Germain, 86, of Cumberland, RI passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024, with loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Roland H. St Germain. She is the loving mother of Dennis St Germain and his wife, Susan of Middletown, RI, Roger St Germain and his wife, Karen of Lincoln, RI, Richard St Germain and his wife, Gail of Charlestown, RI, and Jim St Germain and his wife, Nancy of Cumberland, RI. She leaves her cherished 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Jeannette was born in Central Falls, RI on July 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Leon and Irene (Chartier) Tessier, and the sister of Lucille DeWire and her husband, James of Cumberland, RI and the late Leon Tessier Jr., Fernand Tessier, Cecile Picard and Jacqueline Lafontaine. She leaves many nieces and nephews.

Jeannette was a resident of Cumberland, RI, formerly of Ft. Myers, FL for over 21 years, and previously of Bellingham, MA. She was a homemaker who enjoyed time with family and friends, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, and camping on Nauset Beach, Cape Cod. Jeannette enjoyed many years in Florida, liking the warm weather, beach, and treasured hosting family and friends. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Family and friends were her greatest joy. Jeannette will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 11th with visitation time from 9AM to 10:30AM with a Funeral Service at 10:30AM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA.
