Gordon Hurst Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Gordon "Whitey" Hurst, 87, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor R. (Thurston) Hurst. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Harold and Marion (Bindley) Hurst.
Whitey worked as a pipefitter at Electric Boat for many years until his retirement, and was a life member of the Attleboro Lodge of Elks # 1014.
Whitey leaves a son, James Hurst and a grandson, Joshua Hurst and his wife, Jennifer all of Pawtucket. He was the brother of the late May Aultman.
Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted and services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cheetham Funeral Home, Pawtucket.

I know Whitey was a dear friend of my husband, Danny Arrighi, as he would often tell me of the good times they had talking together. Well they are now together again since Danny passed away 5/18/19. May they enjoy their times together again.
