Hector G. "Clem" Clement

MILLVILLE – Hector G. "Clem" Clement, 89, of Millville passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at his residence. He was the husband of Jacqueline F. (Harris) Clement.

Mr. Clement served as a technical sergeant with the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years before his retirement. He had served his country in Korea and Vietnam.

Hector was born May 11, 1929, in Woonsocket, the son of the late William and Lea (Giguere) Clement. He had been a resident of Millville for the past 46 years. He earned his associate's degree in business administration at Quinsigamond Community College.
As an avid fan of country Western music, Clem developed his own distinctive style of playing guitar and singing. He also enjoyed gardening and travel, and loved his family.

In addition to his wife Jacqueline, he is survived by three daughters, Lea Clement of Glendale, Calif., Melissa Clement Soltys of Chepachet, and April Clement of Canyon County, Calif.; and three grandchildren, John, Kaitlin and Audrey. He was predeceased by two daughters, Georgette Clement and Karen Clement.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the BUMA FUNRAL HOME, 101 North Main St. (Route 122), Uxbridge. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Friday, July 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 15 Lincoln St., Millville. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clem's memory to a charity of one's choice.
