Helen Harisenko Obituary

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Helen T. Harisenko (Godin) 88, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Omer and Dorilda (Dupre) Godin.

She was the loving wife of the late John Harisenko.

She worked as a sales associate at the former Zayre's Department Store, Bellingham MA., then worked as an office clerk at CVS Health prior to retiring.

Helen was a member of the St. Joseph's and St. Ann's choirs for many years.

She was a super card player, and her favorites were cribbage, pitch and poker. She was also always up for a good game of Kismet or Yahtzee.

She is survived by her children, Debra Mansell and her husband Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna Auger and her husband Raymond of Woodstock, CT, and Diane Harisenko of Woonsocket, RI,

She was the proud grandmother to her five beautiful grandchildren: Audrey Lodato, Kristen Simms, Jordan Duncan, Andrew Duncan, and Shania Harisenko, and her two wonderful great-grandchildren: Gianna and Gavin Simms.

She is also survived by her sister Eva Ferri. She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Godin and Theresa Strojny.
We will all miss her more than words can say.

Calling hours will be held at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield, on May 22, 2002, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral Service take place at the funeral home on May 23, 2022, at 8:30 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery Bellingham, MA.
