Helene Normandin Obituary
Helene was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Providence, attended Salve Regina College in Newport, and was a novitiate at The Sisters of Our Lady, Providence. She was employed for many years as a CNA in various nursing homes in Woonsocket and Woonsocket Hospital and retired from Walmart in 2001. She enjoyed puzzles, watching the Patriots, and bingo.
Helene is survived by her children: Richard R. Normandin and his wife Suzanne of Canterbury, NH, Ronald R. Normandin of Woonsocket, and Rachel R. Normandin of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, three grandchildren: Joshua, Amanda, and Olivia, and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Marcella. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: John, Pauline, Leonard, Girard, Cecile, Madeline, Constance, and Rita Brodeur, and Paul and Camille who passed away in infancy.
Her funeral with Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave, Woonsocket. The family will receive guests at the church at 9:30. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste, Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
