Henry J. Letendre

PAWTUCKET - Henry (Hank) J. Letendre, son of the late David and Lena Letendre, passed away peacefully into eternal rest at the age of 93 with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his wife Annette (Phoenix) Letendre, of 63 years, and his six children, Denise Monastesse and her husband Larry, Dolores Salisz and her husband Albert, Henry Letendre and his wife Penny, Debra Marquis and her husband Wilfred, Robert Letendre and Donna Letendre, 17 grand-children and 9 great grand-children.
He was the brother of the late William Letendre, Earnest Letendre and Helene Dery. He was the Grandfather of the late Michael L Monastesse. Henry was an avid golfer, playing many local courses and amassed 3 hole in one's in his golfing career. He worked as a Teamster truck driver for Woodlawn Laundry, retiring after many years and a member of the Civil Conservation Core. During his retirement, he enjoyed working part-time at Sackal's Bakery and Steve's Catering delivering food to local schools. He also worked for the East Providence School Department as a bus monitor. He was a member of the JK Social Club in Pawtucket RI for the past 70 Years.
There will be a mass of Christian Burial at St. John Baptist Church, Quincy Ave. Pawtucket, RI 02863. Calling hour will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
