I enjoyed knowing Herb during our Amica days. We had many good times when the FOOOFs would gather in both NH and FL. Rest in peace, old pal.

Oh my dear "Herbie"...I see you have left us & gone to your richly deserved reward....now I KNOW heaven is a goal worth reaching as it is FILLED with wonderful people like you....I know you missed your wife so much so I'm glad for what must have been a happy reunion....what a surprise when I ran into you with one of my friends, Karen, from home....you were lucky to have her doting on you all those years & she was lucky to have your dry wit & caring ways around her....Everyone just seemed to love "Herbie" and why not ???
What a joy it ALWAYS was to see you at the Elks when Charlie & I would go with Lois....you ALWAYS made it special...Charlie got such a kick out of you bringing his food but then not letting him have it or just picking on me....I just loved running into you here at hometown functions as I hadn't expected it but what a treat...I felt so bad when I went to the last of the season Elks Fish Fry & you weren't there & then Karen told me you were not so well....you're a good man Herbie who served your country, the Elks, your friends & I'm sure your family well....I called you a little mischief with those twinkling blues but there is nothing little about the amount you will be missed.....HUGELY by so MANY....HUGELY I say..
Condolences to all of your children & their families ...I pray the memories they must have will sustain them all in the days to come....I pray they & dear Karen find peace knowing you have yours....
Luv & Blessin's Herbie, Chris M

I will miss uncle Herb. My fondest memories of
him were visiting his house in Mass. When i was
young. He had a dry sense of humor. He would always say we had to work for our food, and hand me a broom or something. But I could tell by the smirk on his face he was just having fun. I will miss fouth of July at his house in Falmouth.
