Ingeburg Tompkinson Obituary
She was born on September 12, 1924 in Essen, Germany. Inge was the loving daughter of the late Heinrich and Anna (Harbord) Hammer.
Inge was very well known for her selfless and hardworking attitude. She will also be fondly remembered as an incredible mother, grandmother, and friend.
Inge is survived by her cherished children, James and his wife Christina of Gilbert, AZ, Inge Aylesworth and her husband John of Graham, NC, Debra McCurry and her husband Jim of Port Charlotte, FL, Rosemarie Nichols of Medfield, MA, and Jackie Tompkinson and his wife Gloria of Hudson, MA; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and also many friends and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Inge is predeceased by her daughter, Karen; and grandchildren, Paul and Robin.
A graveside service will be held at the Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut Street, Newton Centre, MA on Monday March 5th at 10.00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Inge's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241 or to the following web address, https://donatenow.heart.org/.

My deepest condolences goes out to Inge's Family on their loss. Inge was a precious person with a great smile and attitude and an avid bingo player whom I enjoyed on trips to Maine Bingo with her long time friend Gert Hunt. Debra, I am so sorry for your loss.
